660 waterless urinals P1.1 – a strong statement for sustainable hygiene
We are pleased to currently 660 waterless urinals P1.1 having stocked, which will be installed in Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the coming months. Each individual model saves up to 100,000 litres of drinking water – an impressive example of how modern sanitary technology from Sanicus enables sustainable change.
All urinals are produced directly by Sanicus and distributed throughout Europe under various brand names, including EcoStep. This is how the Waterless urinal P1.1 precisely where resource conservation and hygiene go hand in hand: in schools, office buildings, catering establishments and large event venues.
In total, this project will result in annual savings of more than 66 million litres of water. This equates to the water consumption of a community with over 2,000 inhabitants or more than 44 million flushes of conventional urinals. Similarly, this volume could be used for 1.32 million showers or 33 million hand washes.
The waterless urinals P1.1 operate entirely without flushing water and dispense with chemical additives. Instead, they use modern sealing systems that reliably prevent odours and simultaneously ensure the highest hygiene standards. Operators benefit from a solution that permanently lowers operating costs, reduces maintenance requirements, and sets a visible example for sustainable action.

A large proportion of the stored waterless urinals are redistributed throughout our European network. Sanicus has the P1.1 ceramic sinks produced and delivered via central warehouses to partners and subsidiaries in Holland, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic.. This creates short supply chains and maximum security of supply for projects in a wide variety of sectors – from education and gastronomy to large public institutions.
We thank all our partners and customers who are taking responsibility with us. Every single urinal contributes to conserving drinking water and establishing modern standards for hygiene and sustainability.
