North German Camping Day from 26 to 27 November 2025 at the Musik- und Kongresshalle Lübeck

This year, the North German Camping Day will take place from 26 to 27 November 2025 in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, and for the tenth time will be a key meeting point for the camping industry in northern Germany.

"With the North German Camping Day (NCT), we – the six northern German BVCD state associations (Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein) – created a format ten years ago that has successfully reached camping industry businesses across state lines. Thanks to the deliberate rotation through six federal states and consistently relevant, up-to-date industry topics, the NCT has developed into a congress for the camping industry that is unique in Germany. This goes hand in hand with an equally unique trade exhibition for hardware and software solutions specifically designed for use on campsites. As chairman of the Bundesverband der Campingwirtschaft in Deutschland (German Federal Camping Industry Association) – Schleswig-Holstein state branch (BVCD-SH e.V.), I am especially pleased that this year we are hosting this anniversary event in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck for our colleagues from all over Germany.", says Gunnar Mehnert, BVCD-SH e.V., this year's host of the 10th North German Camping Day.

A key benefit of this event remains the valuable exchange among colleagues, as well as conversations with the exhibiting companies. The congress aims to bring together camping business owners and other interested parties, and to foster dialogue both among themselves and with experts. As a two-day event, the congress once again serves as a source of inspiration for the camping industry and is specifically aimed at campsite operators. 

The accompanying trade exhibition in and around the Musik- und Kongresshalle Lübeck, on the Wallhalbinsel peninsula on the banks of the River Trave, offers a wide range of opportunities to learn in detail about the latest product solutions as well as proven quality products. Beyond the business side, networking between campsite operators, exhibitors, tourism associations and political representatives is by no means neglected: a networking event on the eve of the congress and the festive evening event round off the programme. In a relaxed, maritime atmosphere, conversations about the camping industry can be continued and deepened. 

The trade congress is now taking place for the tenth time and is a fixed date in many people's calendars – industry representatives look forward every year to the professional and personal exchange at the North German Camping Day. This year, the event is being organised independently – without cooperation with an event management company. The North German Camping Day will continue to set new impulses together with long-standing exhibitors and partners, pursuing its goal of being an indispensable platform for exchange, innovation and networking within the future-oriented camping industry.
